Our recruitment partners are passionate community members, university students and workplace champions who take action to help grow the registry by running swabbing events and promoting donor registration. Whether you’re a part of a student group, a large company, a sports club or a healthcare organisation, you can make a life-saving difference.

Help recruit new donors in high-impact settings like sporting clubs, universities or community hubs

Get accredited to run events

To protect our donors and ensure consistency, all recruitment partners must complete our short training to become Accredited Recruitment Supervisors. This means you’ll be able to:

Safely manage swabbing kits and consent forms
Represent the registry at public or internal events
Collect and submit donor registrations on our behalf

We provide the tools, training, swabs, and ongoing support. You bring the passion, energy and connection to your community.

Who can become a recruitment partner?

We’re looking for people and organisations who are:

Passionate about helping others
Confident engaging with the public
Connected to communities or locations where new donors can be reached

Our current partners include student clubs, charities, corporate workplaces, and families and friends with a personal connection to blood cancer or blood disorders — and we’re always ready to welcome more.

As part of the recruitment volunteer application process, you’ll create an account through our volunteer platform, Volaby, where you’ll complete a few required steps and share some information about yourself.

From there, you’ll be invited to attend an introduction call to learn more about:

the impact volunteers make as part of the Stem Cell Donors Australia community
what’s involved and expected of recruiter volunteers
