Why you should consider becoming a stem cell donor

Each year, around 1,100 Aussie patients facing life-threatening blood cancer search for a donor. Around 30% of them will find their best match within their family, leaving the remainder dependent on volunteer donors, like you.

Younger donors deliver better outcomes for patients, so we need 18–35-year-old Aussies to register and increase the chances of finding the best possible matches for those in need. It’s also critical that we expand the diversity of our donor pool, as patients are more likely to match with someone of the same ethnicity.

The solution is simple:
more donors, more matches, more hope.
