Current appeals

Each day, individuals waiting for a stem cell transplant depend on the generosity of strangers to find a matching donor. Sadly, many still face challenges in locating that match. Through our appeals platform, families, friends, and communities can raise awareness and rally support to help find life-saving donors for their loved ones.

By participating in an appeal, you can help boost donor registrations, increasing the odds of finding a match for patients in urgent need.

Create your own appeal

Running a recruitment appeal is a powerful way to raise awareness and recruit donors.

Here’s how it works:

  • Complete this form to provide us with information about your appeal.
  • We’ll contact you and create your personalised appeal page on our website.
  • Your page will include information about why you’re recruiting donors, whether it’s due to a personal connection or a passion for our cause.
  • Promote your appeal widely to encourage registrations.
  • Donors who register through your appeal receive swab kits by mail, which they complete and return. We’ll be able to track the number of registrations form your appeal, and see the real impact you’re having on the registry.
  • If you are looking to promote your appeal through a large-scale event, we may be able to assist with an in-person cheek swabbing event. Contact us to see if we have partners available for your event.
